100 scholarships available for African-American, Hispanic, and Native American students pursuing undergraduate degrees in the chemical sciences. Scholarships will be given up to a maximum of $3,000 per year.

The Barry Goldwater scholarship is for juniors and seniors who have outstanding potential and intend to pursue careers in mathematics, the natural sciences, or engineering. (Four-year institutions are eligible to nominate up to four students who are in the sophomore or junior class during the 2007-2008 academic year.) Maximum of $7500/yr.

Undergraduate Summer Research Opportunities
INROADS is a non-profit organization that trains, develops and provides internship opportunities for talented minority youth interested in pursuing professional careers in business, engineering, computer and information sciences, sales, marketing, allied health care, healthcare management and retail management. The program is open for talented African American, Latino/Hispanic, and Native American Indian students who have a GPA of 2.8 or better.

The Jack Kent Cooke scholarship is available to undergraduate transfer students. The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship Program each year awards approximately 50 scholarships to students attending community colleges or two-year institutions in the US and planning to four-year institutions.

Leadership Award Endowed Scholarship
The Miner Alumni Association sponsors the Leadership award endowed scholarship to full time enrolled undergraduate students with a minimum GPA of 2.5 and have shown leadership in university and community involvement. Applicants are required to prepare a personal statement describing reasons for applying. Applicants are required to submit an unofficial undergraduate transcript and two letters of recommendation from faculty members or university officials.All applicants will be judged on academic excellence, service to the campus and community, personal objectives and goals, potential and recommendations.

The Frank and Sara McKnight Prize at the University of Texas-Dallas Southwestern Medical Center is for senior undergraduates who have done laboratory research in chemistry. The applicant should prepare an abstract describing their research and include their GRE scores and GPA. Applicants should also arrange to have their undergraduate research mentor send a letter of support.

NSEP Boren Scholarship and Fellowships
The NSEP David L. Boren Scholarships for undergraduate students and NSEP David L. Boren Fellowships for graduate students, funded by the National Security Education Program (NSEP) and administered by the Institute of International Education, focus on geographic areas, languages, and fields of study deemed critical to U.S. national security, and provide unique funding opportunities for U.S. students to add important international and language components to their educations.
Boren Scholarships provide up to $20,000 for an academic year's study abroad for undergraduate students. Boren Fellowships provide up to $30,000 for language study and international research for graduate students.

TWA Scholarship (Trans World Airlines Scholarship)
The TWA Scholarship ($7000) will be awarded to graduate(at any level) and undergraduate(must have completed 60 hrs) students who are enrolled or accepted for an admission to an academic program at the University of Missouri in environmental engineering or environmental science.Law students who intend to pursue a career in the area of natural resources or environmental law are also eligible.
Students must be currently enrolled as residents of the state of Missouri as defined by the rules of the board of curators. Applicants will be evaluated on GPA, GRE score(if available), research and other relevant experience.

UNCFSP is actively providing the educational opportunities today that will create the leaders and role models of tomorrow. Their registration and resume system is a portal to scholarships, fellowships, internships, grants, research awards, employment, contract work, professional development and other opportunities. UNCFSP supports underserved and underrepresented populations, including minority institutions, faculty, and students.
